Obituary
Pocahontas - Peter Paul Thielemier, 89, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
He was born, January 23, 1930 in the Running Lake Community near Pocahontas to the late Ben and Katie Baltz Thielemier. He was a retired farmer and parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence, Cornell, Bernard and Vitus Thielemier; sisters, Ester Wurtz and Lee Mondy; and sons, Pete and Mark Thielemier.
He is survived by his wife, Diania Snodgrass Thielemier; sons, Howard (Jody), Gerry, and David (Kathy) Thielemier all of Pocahontas; daughter, Kim (Scott) Hills of Pocahontas; grandchildren, John Paul (Erica) Thielemier, Benjamin Thielemier, Tahnee (Terry) Green, Kara (Dustin) Kincade, Ali Thielemier, Cody Hills, Zac (Erika) Hills, Tori Thielemier, Josh Thielemier, and Caden Thielemier; great grandchildren, Darby and Olivia Thielemier, Rylen and Avery Kincade, and Hunter and Sadie Green; sister, Mary Ann Graddy of Clover Bend; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a Rosary being said at 7 PM. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Stephen Elser officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Zac Hills, Tahnee Green, Kara Kincade, Ben Thielemier, Josh Thielemier, John Paul Thielemier, Tori Thielemier, and Cody Hills.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ali Thielemier and Caden Thielemier
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul School or to the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
