Jonesboro- Peggy Sue Walker Brooks, 82, our mother and best friend left us, Thursday, December 3, 2020 to be with her Lord and Savior.

Peggy Sue for years worked at the Quantity Stamps Store then went to work for ESP and retired from Child Support Services. She enjoyed her family, church, camping and the game of dominoes. Also volunteering with the Red Hatters and Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the Jonesboro Community of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Brooks; her father, Herbert Walker; mother, Edna Phillips Walker and a large host of aunts and uncles and her grandparents.

She will be missed by her sons, Steve Brooks and Brian Brooks; grandchildren, Stephanie, Sasha, Jody and Hali; great-grandchildren, Callie Marie, Emily Brooks and Hunner Brooks; brother, Richard Walker; her favorite sister-in-law, Karla Faye; sister, Helen Walker Price (DB); nieces, Christy Duffell (Steve), Stacy Soden (Brett), Debbie Lassiter (Faris) and Patti Sue Price; great-nieces and nephews, Christa Duffell, Karley Soden, Seth Soden, Luke Lassiter, Joshua Lassiter (Tiffany), Jarrod Lassiter (Shelley) and Bryson Lassiter; great-great-nieces and nephews, Ashton Lassiter, Sarah Lassiter, Riley Lassiter and Dakota Lassiter.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am Saturday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Primm and Martin Passmore officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
