Obituary

Peggy Sue Stalnaker, 79, of Imboden passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born August 9, 1942 in Imboden. She was a 1960 graduate of Sloan-Hendrix High School, worked as an administrative assistant for Martin Marietta Quarry, was an accomplished pianist, and a member of Imboden Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parent Billy Gene Dickerson; her husband, Martin Burl Stalnaker; and her daughter, Susan Renee Greenwell.

Peggy is survived by her mother, Alma Jewel Smith Dickerson; daughter Lisa (Doug) Bailey of Harrison; son-in-law, Jerry Greenwell of Trumann; four grandchildren, Sydney Greenwell of Trumann, Grant Greenwell of Trumann, Marti (Seth) Bradley of Imboden, Chelsea (Ty) Matheny of Ravenden; six great grandchildren, Hayden Matheny, Tate Matheny, Presley Matheny, Blakelynn Bradley, Wren Bradley, and Maybri Grace Bradley; siblings, Allan Dickerson of Connecticut, Marshall Dickerson of Missouri, Margaret Taylor of Utah, Tony Dickerson of Arkansas, and Patti Dickerson of Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10 AM at Hope Cemetery with Harold Russell officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
