Jonesboro- Peggy Sue Henderson, 92, went to be with her heavenly father on August 7, 2026 at St. Bernards Village.

She was born on February 24, 1934 in Jonesboro to the late Floyd and Elizabeth Jenkins.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Marvin Henderson and one brother, Joe Paul Jenkins.

Peggy is survived by three daughters, Leta (Terry) Boatman of Garland, TX, Linda (Terry) Gould of Jonesboro, and Marva (Jeff) Heckert of Lewes, DE; five grandchildren, Britney (Jeremy) Risley, Derek Gould, Drew (Jennifer) Boatman, Adam Morsy (Amber Baker), and Emily (Jacob) Samuelson; six great grandchildren, Carter White, Park Risley, Olivia Boatman, Charlotte Boatman, Case Gould, and Crue Gould (Brittany Kirby-mother); two brothers, Travis Jenkins, Rickie (Joyce) Jenkins, and sister in law Barbara Jenkins, as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

All services will be held at Nettleton Baptist Church where she was an active member for most of her life. Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11 with Bro. Stan Ballard and Bro. Brady Canright officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve her as pallbearers are Derek Gould, Drew Boatman, Adam Morsy, Jeremy Risley, Jacob Samuelson, and Carter White. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class.
