Peggy Lemay Lancaster of Greenfield, AR, departed this life Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 60.
She was born March 6, 1960 in Sycamore, IL, the daughter of Kenneth Carl Lemay and Betty Brown Lemay.
Peggy married Coy Lancaster on May 11, 1979 and they enjoyed 41 years together. Peggy had a successful career as a certified scrub technician at Methodist Hospital/NEA Baptist; where she was frequently "requested" by physicians and patients to assist in their cases. She was also known for her other talents including cake decorating, plying the piano, photography, and making flower arrangements and wreaths. She was a loyal friend and loved by many. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lemay.
She is survived by her husband, Coy of the home, two daughters, Lacrisha Dixon (Robbie) of Brookland, and Candice Harris of Jonesboro, her mother, Betty Lemay of Harrisburg, two brothers, Richard Lemay of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Ervin Lemay (Tolonda) of mayfield, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Jasmine Dixon, Paige Anne Ring, Xavier Johnson, Jackson Ring, Kaden Dixon, and Xander Johnson, and one great grandson, Levi Thompson.
Funeral services are set for Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mark Huff officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. till service time. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robbie Dixon, Cliff Sams, Barry Clayton, Xavier Johnson, Jackson Ring, Kaden Dixon and Xander Johnson.
