St. Louis Missouri - Peggy Sue Griffith passed away Monday, July 29th, 2024 at the age of 84. Born May 5, 1940 to the late Joseph Cecil Davis and Susie Bell Poe Davis. Peggy worked for many years as an Area District Manager for Shoney's Restaurant. She enjoyed playing cards, marbles, bingo, Cardinal Baseball and Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her brother Joe Davis of Missouri and a sister Jerrie Siman of Missouri. Her children: (Harvey) Cindy Harris of Arkansas, David Harris of Louisiana, Hellen (Darryl) Miller of Missouri, Donald (Patty) Griffith of Illinois and George Griffith of Missouri. Grandchildren: Theresa Wilson, Brian Harris, Chrissie Gettinger, Bradley Harris, Justin Harris, Ashlee Rowald, Travis Griffith, Marshall Griffith, Nathan Griffith, Justina Griffith, April Griffith, Molly Griffith and Lilly Griffith; and 24 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Cecil Davis and Susie Bell Poe Davis; late husband Cletus Ray Griffith; brother Edward Beaird; son Harvey Harris and great grandchild Layla Harris.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette on Saturday, August 24, 2024 officiated by Rev. Bobby Floyd with services starting at 11a.m. A visitation for family and friends will start at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be at Monette Cemetery.
