Obituary
Pleasanton, California- Pauline Cole Root, 105, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017.
She was born February 27, 1912 in Jonesboro to the late Ollie and Nancy Caples Cole. She was a beautician for over sixty years. Mrs. Root will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Hager of Carson City, NV, Francis McLean of San Ramon, CA, Robert "Bob" Hager of Savannah, GA, Norm Root (Kathryn) of Alabama and Priscilla Root of Palm Desert, CA; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Darrel E. Root; a daughter, Kathe Hollingshaus and ten brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Unity Cemetery with Rev. Doug Welborn officiating under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
