Pocahontas- Pauline Johnston, 90, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 16, 2014. Pauline was born December 15, 1923 in Randolph County to the late Frank and Josephine Tyler. Pauline worked at IGA foodliner as head cashier for 30 plus years. After retirement she was a foster grandparent for the Doni Martin Center she made a positive influence in the children's lives that she fostered . She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Survived by son Terry Johnston of Pocahontas and daughter Karla (Dallas) Howard of Pocahontas, grandchildred Jeremy (Holly) Thielemier of Walnut Ridge, Tyler Johnston of Jonesboro, great grandchildred Kodi and Kam Thielemier of Walnut Ridge, special friend and caregiver Melissa Guthrie. Preceded in death by husband Carl Johnston, parents Frank and Josephine Tyler, sister's Lois Richardson, Mazie Million, Virgie Bridges and brother's Fred and Willis Tyler. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 5:00- 7:00 P.M. at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will b e Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
