Obituary

Jonesboro- Pauline Rogers Fox, on August 16, 2020 she passed away from this life surrounded by her family. She was born in 1925 to Sterling Rogers and Eula Mae Rogers Wyckoff. In 1942, Mrs. Fox married James Henry "Curly" Fox. To know Pauline Fox was to love her.

She was a devout Christian and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church for over fifty-eight years. Her ministry at the church included many, many hours caring for children in the nursery. Mrs. Fox was a homemaker and caregiver to many children over the years. She loved her family more than anything in the world and nothing made her happier than doing something for her grandchildren. Mrs. Fox was an excellent cook, loved reading her Bible, working word search puzzles, watching westerns, drinking coffee and she especially enjoyed visiting with her great-great-granddaughters in her later years.

Mrs. Fox's family was the pride and joy of her life. She has one daughter, Tressie Ann Miles (Billy); one granddaughter, Sherri Broadway (Ken); four great-grandchildren, Daniel Cody Broadway, Mollie Veteto (Brian), Ethan Broadway (Kayla) and Trey Chism (Allison) and two beautiful great-great-grandchildren, Karsyn Broadway and Caroline Chism.

Mrs. Fox rejoins her husband, Curly and her great-grandson, Cody Broadway.

A graveside service will be held on 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Nettleton Cemetery with Rev. Rickie Rose officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
