Obituary

Paula Ann Palmer Spurlock, of Jonesboro, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, from complications from Covid, at the age of 72.
She was born July 20, 1948 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Paul W. Palmer and Charlene Darr Palmer.
Her family moved to California when she was baby and she spent her entire childhood there. She graduated high school in Long Beach, CA. Following high school, Paula attended college at ASU and graduated in 1971 with a Medical Technology Degree. She married Greg Spurlock on December 28, 1969, and they enjoyed 51 years together. She loved sewing and taking care of her grandchildren and really enjoyed the times spent at the lake with her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip A. Palmer and her son-in-law, Barrett Sitzer.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Spurlock of the home, two daughters, Jennifer Spurlock of Blytheville and Teresa Sitzer Cooper and her husband Stuart of Jonesboro, and three grandchildren, Briar Sitzer, Amelia Sitzer, and Lance Cooper.
