Paul Edward Lewis, 84, of Pocahontas departed this life on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Regional One in Memphis.

Paul was born on July 4, 1941, in Brakebill, Arkansas to Robert Leo Lewis and Dorothy Kidd Lewis. Paul served our country proudly in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Dalton Volunteer Fire Department and Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dorothy Lewis; siblings, Charlene Lewis, Bob Lewis, and Judy Ann Lewis.

He is survived by his son, Jimmy (Chris) Lewis of Pocahontas, brothers Larry (Vera) Lewis of Pocahontas, Carl (Janet) Lewis of Doniphan, MO. and David Lewis of Gatewood, MO. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Stacy and Kyle Wesselhoft of Benton, Autumn Taylor of Southaven, MS., Casey Lewis of Pocahontas; two great-grandchildren, Rylee Wesselhoft of Benton and Grayson Taylor of Southaven, MS., along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Steven King, Ryan King, Chase King, Kyle Wesselhoft, Casey Lewis, and Brent Taylor.
