Obituary

Jonesboro- Paul Alexander French, 95, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024.

He was born August 15, 1928 in Jonesboro to the late Silas and Bessie Dupwe French. He sold and moved mobile homes. While in California, he and his dad and brother ran a full service station where he was the main mechanic. He was also happy and enjoyed spreading joy wherever he went. He loved working in his flower garden.

He was survived by his daughters, Cynda French and Brenda Philips; grandchildren, Prichard Philips, LeAnne Philips, Ryan Gambill and Olivia Harmer; great-grandchildren, Silas Pizzutielto,  Jathan Dillon, Ama Grace Dillon and Kayson Albert Rex Pizzutielto.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty French; son, Paul Allen French and granddaughter, Christie LeAnne Gambill.

A celebration of his life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024 at the funeral home.
