Paul Edward Ferguson, 80, of Pocahontas departed this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at his home in Pocahontas.

He was born on October 16, 1945, to the late Clarence Ferguson and Ruby Rimer Ferguson in Egypt, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother CD (Othelda) Ferguson; sisters Lois (Bob) Kisling, Lola (WG) Douglas and Joan (Ken) Smith; great grandchild, Willow River Ferguson; nephews, David Neill Turner and Denny Pope; nieces, Sonja Kisling and Melody Turner.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Ferguson of Pocahontas; children, Anthony (Felicia) Ferguson of North Carolina, Shawn Dickerson of Illinois and John Shelby (Kiaya) Dickerson of Tennessee; grandchildren, Melayna (Josh) Rodriguez of North Carolina, Jacob (Emily) Ferguson of North Carolina, Blake, Beckam and Ellie Dickerson of Tennessee; great grandchildren, Madeline Winslow of North Carolina, Sofia and Annalee Rodriguez of North Carolina; siblings, Margie (Art) Espersen of Louisiana, Sunshine (Bob) Pope of Bono, Glendia (Lee) Rowell of Jonesboro, Vanessa (Allen) Jenkins of Iowa, and Richard "Dick" (Carol) Ferguson of Mountain Home. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 am Saturday, November 8, 2025 with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 am with Jeff Hamm officiating. All services will be held at Great Harvest Church. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
