Obituary

Patsy Russell, 81, of Walnut Ridge passed away peacefully Sunday night, December 20, 2020 at the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born August 3, 1939 in Lawrence County to John Chester and Ruth Josephine Puckett.

Patsy worked many years as a customer service representative for Arkla Gas before retiring to enjoy spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Presbyterian belief.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, John Russell.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne (Peggy) Hollister of Jonesboro, Mike Hollister of Walnut Ridge, and Jeff (Kim) Hollister of Weldon Spring, MO; brother, Glenn (Linda) Puckett of Barnhart, MO; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 @ 2:00 P.M. in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that donations to the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice house in Jonesboro be considered.

To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
