Patricia Mae Neece of Pocahontas, passed away at home on September 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born January 4, 1947, in Trumann, Arkansas to the late John "Bill" and Ethel Hendrickson Cook. On July 13, 1963, she married Elisha Neece. They were married for 60 years. Patricia was a longtime member of Sutton Free Will Baptist Church.
Patricia's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She tirelessly cared for others in her family in their time of need. She always put others first and prayed for her family daily.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, John "Bill" and Ethel Cook; and her brothers, Bill Cook, Johnny Cook, Tom Cook, Jerry Cook, Robert Cook and Charlie Cook.
She is survived by her husband, Elisha Neece of Pocahontas; two daughters, Tonda Neitz of Las Vegas, NV, and Teresa (Sean) Gavan of Midland, Georgia; son, Michael Neece of Pocahontas; 9 grandchildren, Samantha (Aaron) Winebaugh, Khloe Clawson, Brady (Jennifer) Gavan, Ashton Neece, Cody Gavan, Jake (Aly) Gavan, McKinley Neece, Lexi Neitz, and Jake Neitz; 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Winebaugh, Norah Winebaugh and Krue Winebaugh; brother, Larry Cook; sisters, Betty Walker, Peggy Hastings, and Mary Craig; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
All services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Sutton Free Will Baptist Church in Pocahontas. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
Patricia's grandchildren will be her pallbearers.
