Jonesboro- Patricia Ann Metzler, 83, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 14, 1930 in Walnut Ridge to the late Mack and Pansy Taylor Talbot. Mrs. Metzler received her bachelor degree in Business Admiration from University of Arkansas and also attended University of Mississippi. She worked in the credit life department for Langford Funeral Home for a few years. She also was the secretary and programer for KNEA Radio station. She and her husband owned and operated Chrysler and Cadillac Dealerships for many years. She enjoyed volunteering with the Salvation Army board and Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of the Junior Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge, golf and traveling all over the world. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. "Bookie" Metzler, Jr; a niece and her husband, Debbie and Kenny Seals; a nephew, James Rinehart; two great-nephews and their wives, Robert and Rosana Seals and Kolby and Tamara Seals all of Lawton, OK. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cherrie Rinehart. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. John Miles II officiating under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service in church atrium. The family request lasting memorials to the First United Methodist Church.
