Bay- Patricia Spencer, 83, passed away August 14, 2021 at NEA Baptist Medical Center.

She was born February 19, 1938 in Ellington, MO to the late John and Ocie Skaggs and was a member of Bay Church of Christ. Mrs. Spencer worked for Jonesboro Public Schools for 13 years and retired for health reasons. After this time, she was a house wife. She helped T.S. work in the fields and his big garden that he loved so well.

She is survived by her children: Rhonda Craig of Cordova, TN; Sheila Layne Pruitt (John) of Jonesboro; Tonya Towery (Josh) of Bay; Mark Spencer (Morgan) of Marvell; eight grandchildren: Melanie Goodson, Zachary Hadi, Sarah Hinkson, Tracy Craig, Brandy Taylor (Brent), Gunner Freeman (Sabrina), Lane Brewer, David Spencer; seven great-grandchildren, Jarred Rasdon (Hannah), Sasha Rasdon (Devon), Shianne Webb, Gavin Thomas, Adyson Taylor, Fiona Hinkson, Ethan Hadi; six great-great-grandchildren: Karson Kuligowski, Elizabeth Kuligowski, Paxton Jarrett, HeartLee Jarrett, Max Rasdon and McKenna; three brothers: Ronald Skaggs (Juanita) of Ash Flat; Randy Skaggs (Jo Ann) of Jonesboro, Donnie Skaggs (Donna) of Trumann; two sisters: Joyce Gairhan of Trumann, Sherry Ford (Shawn) of Jonesboro, and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T. S. Spencer; a daughter, Tammy Freeman; siblings: Carla Hendrix, Venetta Doris, Jan Skaggs, and Larry Dean Skaggs.

A celebration of her life will held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Mark Spencer officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
