Bono- Patricia Ann Adams, 70, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Flo Phil Jones Hospice. She was born November 29, 1943 in Milligan Ridge to the late Luther and Christine Holt Mann. Ann enjoyed reading, flower gardening, cooking for her family and playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of Cathedral Missionary Baptist Church and over the years she had been active, teaching GMAs and Awana's. Ann was survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Adams; her daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Curt Parish of Murfreesboro, Tenn., LaDonna and David Tomlinson of Jonesboro, Kelley and Dan Dorton of Bono and Shelley and Jeff Vaughn of Cabot; eight grandchildren, Kacy Coble, Anthony, Allie and Anna Tomlinson, Caleb and Luke Hart and Sarah and Jessica Vaughn; a brother and his wife, Tommy and Patty Mann of Lake City; a sister, Elaine Mann of Bethel Springs, Tenn. She is also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Doug Welborn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Tomlinson, Curt Parish, Dan Dorton, Jeff Vaughn, Anthony Tomlinson and Caleb Hart. A special thanks to Ann's caregiver, Seleana Cole and the Flo Phil Jones Hospice House for their loving care. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Cathedral Missionary Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
