Obituary
Salt Lake City, UT- Parthenia Nell Blackwood Lakey passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at home.
She was born June 19, 1942 to Hearl and Lillian Blackwood in Porum, Oklahoma. She was an RN for 50 years and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by three children; Diana S Griffey and husband, Mark, Ramona J Hendrickson and husband Michael, both of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jim E Lakey, Jr and wife, Linda of Pocahontas, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Chris, Nathan, Diana and Daniel Hendrickson, Michelle Evison, Hannah and Shelby Lakey; three great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Skylar Evison and Kylie Jones; two brothers, James and Danny Blackwood; two sisters, Joan Jennings and Ramonia Rocha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hearl and Lillian Blackwood and her husband, James E Lakey, Sr.
Visitation will be March 3, 2018 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas with the funeral immediately following at 2 pm. Burial will be at the Gravesville Cemetery.
