Jonesboro- Pamela Diane Newton, 66, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

She was born January 10, 1957 in Jonesboro to the late Hugh and Lou Ellen Wallace Flinn. She retired after twenty-five years with East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. Pam enjoyed sports, especially the Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her family and her church family at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Newton of Jonesboro and Eric Newton (Kristina) of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Edward Flinn of Jonesboro; a sister, Susan Flinn of Texarkana; six grandchildren, Madelyne Newton, Devon Newton, Elizabeth Newton, Riley Newton, Colin Newton and Abby Newton.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church on Hwy 351 with Rev. Mike Book officiating.
