Mrs. Pamela Darlene Barker, of Harrisburg, departed this life Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 47. She was born June 9, 1966 in Newport, the daughter of Jimmy Don Barker and Nancy Anschultz Barker. Pamela was raised in Fisher and then later moved to Harrisburg in 1980. She graduated from Vogue Beauty College in Jonesboro and was a beautician until 1991, when she became disabled. She loved watching television and visiting and enjoyed her diary. She was a member of the Church of God. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Bertha Anschultz and Jim and Margie Barker, a brother, John Darren Barker in 2000 and a stepbrother, Charles Kemp. She is survived by her father, Jimmy Don Barker of Hickory Ridge, her mother and stepfather, Nancy and Danny Kemp of Harrisburg, her daughter, Morgan Barker and Byron Griffin of Harrisburg, her brother, Cary barker and his wife Alli of Harrisburg, a grandson, Brayden Weaver of Harrisburg, a half-brother, Josh Barker of Fisher and step-brother, Gary Kemp of Trumann, as well as several other family members and friends. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Rev. Gary Barker officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Pallbearers will be Dustin Weeks, Byron Griffin, Bruce Pipes, Gage Churchwell, Bobby Tubbs, and Perry Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Wilson, Brenda Robertson, and Quinte Sproling.
