Manila- Oscar Lee Peppers "Pep", 86, transitioned this life on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Oscar was born to Leroy Peppers and Malinda Grayson Peppers on September 9, 1935 in Farris, Mississippi.

Oscar married Elizabeth Williams Peppers on November 16, 1970, and unto this union no children were born. Oscar joined the Macedonia Baptist Church in Hayford at an early age, where he remained.

Oscar enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching westerns with his wife. He enjoyed collecting rare guns and knives, of which he owned a few.

Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Lettie) Peppers; his son, Johnnie Lee Peppers of Osceola; a brother, Alee Peppers of Brinkley; a sister Eddie Mae (Oscar) White of North Las Vegas, Nevada, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
