Warm Springs- Orvil Lee Bounds, age 91, of Warm Springs passed away September 28, 2013. Orvil was born at Elm Store Dalton, Arkansas on June 4, 1922. He was the son of the late Pearlie and Modina Bounds. Orvil is survived by his wife Pauline Jarrett Bounds. He was a loving husband to his wife for 66 years and devoted father to his 3 children, loved church and the outdoors. Orvil is survived by one son Dennis (Marie) Bounds of Pocahontas, one daughter Thresa (Larry) Duffey of Maynard. Two grandsons Pete (Kristi) Bounds and Justin Bounds, four granddaughters Sonia Bounds, Trina (Jeff) Parsons, Leslie Bounds and Cynthia (William) Dismang. Great-granddaughters Monica, Haley and Eric Parson, Madyson and Kirsten Bounds and Kylee Dismang. Great-grandson Cole Dismang, one Great Great-grandson Jaydon. Other survivors include three sisters Vida Doran, Pearline Helms and Willia Dean (A.C.) Shaver, one brother I.M. (Betty) Bounds, cousin Cleatus and Bernice Scott, and several nieces and nephews. Orvil was preceded in death by one son Douglas Lee Bounds, one great-granddaughter Serena Bounds, three sisters Leta Lane, Pauline Green and Essie and one brother Clifton Bounds. Orvil served four years In the U.S. Army serving our country during World War 2. He loved to hunt, fish and ride horses. Orvil had very special friends and extra special neighbors who helped with his illness, that he loved dearly. Visitation will be at the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday September 30, 2013, with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Harmen Seawel will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Warm Springs Cemetery.
