Pocahontas - Orba Selvia Jacobs, 95, passed away August 24 at Five Rivers Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1914 in Dalton to the late James and Lottie Evans. She is preceded in death by husband, Marvin Jacobs. Sisters; Eva Evans, Mable Graig, Delia Bryant, \u0026 Cecil Erhardt. Brothers; James Evans, Clarence Evans, and Hosea Evans. She is survived by sisters; Ruby Loenard of Corning, Zada (J.M.) Harris of Maynard, Bertha Eddington of Pocahontas, and Janice (Weldon) Ritchy of DeSota, TX. Memorials may be made to Randolph County Nursing Home. Service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Walnut Grove Cemetery with Richard Todd officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7.
