Mrs. Oral May Monroe Reddmann of Weiner, Arkansas, departed this life Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at her home at the age of 98. She was born November 1, 1915 in Newton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Monroe and Viola Foltz Monroe Stitt. Oral was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg. She married Paul Reddmann March 18, 1939 and they enjoyed 52 years before his death in 1991. She enjoyed her yard work, flowers and her family and loved shopping and traveling. In addition to her parents, and her husband Paul, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cleda Logan Clifton and one brother, Doris Monroe. She is survived by one son, Jerry Paul Reddmann (Lana) of Weiner, one daughter, Betty Cooper (James) of Jonesboro, one sister, Mildred Cole of Harrisburg,7 grandchildren, Keith Reddmann (Paula) of Weiner, Daria Gardner (Todd) of Greers Ferry, Kevin Reddmann (Ronda) of Weiner, Ronald Craft of Jonesboro, Phenix Horner (Shane) of Midland, TX, Kimberly Brown of Jonesboro and Jay Cooper (Beth) of Harrisburg and15 great grandchildren, Jordan Reddmann, Blaine Gardner, Logan Reddmann, Trae Lewis, Hunter Lewis, Paige Craft, Peyton Craft, Loren Craft, Emma Horner, Zachary Brown, Addison Brown, Regan Cooper, Emily Wallace, Jacob Wallace and Abby Wallace. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg with Rev. Albert Quoss officiating. Interment will follow in Waldenburg Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the church Friday morning, 10:00 a.m. till service time. Pallbearers will include Keith Reddmann, Jordan Reddmann, Kevin Reddmann, Logan Reddmann, Todd Gardner, Blaine Gardner, Ronald Craft and Trae Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Teague, Jim Hesse, Donnie Reddmann, Ronnie Reddmann, J.B. Reddmann, Gary Reddmann and Greg Reddmann. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her loving caregivers, Joy Zirbel, Candi Mullins, Karen Zirbel, Bekki Greeno and Tonya Anschultz.
