Pocahontas- Norman D. Porter 68, passed away April 11, 2014 at his home. Norman was born December 23, 1945 in Jonesboro to the late David Porter and Ruth Johnson Porter. Norman is survived by special friend Debra Diane Bennett of the home, half-sisters Georgia Kurtz of OK, Gloria Romine of N.C., cousins Leon Johnson of Lafe and John Fluke of Pocahontas, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends Gayland Cavenaugh and Jan Arrington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Uncles Jack Johnson, Uncles Lesley Johnson, and Aunt Essie Weatherford. 5 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Graveside service following at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Terry Miller officiating Pallbearers: Robert Lee Williford, Brian Johnson, Harley Calver, Dave Grice, Gayland Cavenaugh, Clay Hogan
