Norma Joyce Collins, 79, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

She was born July 18, 1946 in Delano, California to the late Henry and Onad Davis Duncan. She devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Onad Duncan; husband, Loyd Collins; and siblings, Edith, Johnny, Nadine, Betty, Jeannie, Mary, and Dorothy.

Norma is survived by her children, Alan (Tammy) Collins of Black Rock, Johnny Collins of Pocahontas, Rex Collins of Pocahontas, and Camie Collins (Bryan King) of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Joe (Jessica), Lane, Nathan, Cassandra (Dennis), Chasity, Felicia, Kevin, and Crystal; great grandchildren, Lynnley, Anna, Ella, Everleigh, Beckett, Reldon, Jessie, Logan, Leon, and Shelby; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2026 from 1-3 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 3 PM with Linnie Finney officiating. Burial will follow in the Edd Collins Cemetery at Wirth.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Richard Clark, Alan Collins, Joe Collins, Nathan Collins, Tim Collins, and Dennis Duran.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lane Collins, Kevin Due, Daniel Stone, Rex Marshall, and Johnny Marshall.
