Monette- Noel Eggers, 86, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born April 17, 1934 in Monette to the late Jonathan and Lovie White Eggers. Noel started farming very early in his life and enjoyed sharing his love of farming with his grandsons. He enjoyed duck hunting also with his grandsons. He had lived most of his life on Poplar Ridge. He had also worked at Massey Ferguson for many years.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife of forty-eight years, Glenda Eggers and a sister, June Dodd.

He was survived by his wife of twenty years, Patsy Fletcher Eggers; two daughters, Pam Holden (Dennis) and Terri Higginbotham (Blaine) all of Monette; a brother, Barry Eggers (Donna) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Todd Higginbotham (Jennifer) of Jonesboro, Bart Holden (Angie) of Lake City and Brooke Whitley (Bishop) of Black Oak; great-grandchildren, Noah, Alexa, Xander, Jax, Emerson and Easton.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Gregg Funeral Home with Josh Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Blaine Higginbotham, Dennis Holden, Todd Higginbotham, Bart Holden, Noah Higginbotham, Xander Higginbotham, Bishop Whitley, Jax Whitley and Easton Holden.
