Monette- Nina Louise McFarlin, 100, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born September 10, 1920 in Monette to the late J. H. and Addie Blankenship Osment. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and helping others in the church. She loved her family and was very generous with St. Jude's and the Children's Home in Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow McFarlin; her children, Charles McFarlin, Wendall "Joe" McFarlin, Mary Louise Cullum and James "Bubby" McFarlin and a brother, Jim Osment.
She was survived by a son-in-law, Noble Cullum of Monette; grandchildren, Kent Cullum of Monette, Kim Jones (Doyle) of Shawnee, Kansas and Kristie Diggs (Justin) of Hot Springs; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Barnes (Chris) of Conway, Mallary Davis (Lance) of Monette, Drake Cullum (Kate) of Memphis, Christian Cullum of Bono, Alex Aultman (Allen) of Poyen, Shana May of Hot Springs; great-great-grandchildren, Cayden and Mace Davis of Monette, Jacob Barnes of Conway, Adelyn and Brooklyn Aultman of Poyen.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Monette Church of Christ.
A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am Saturday at the Monette Church of Christ with Josh Parnell, Paul Woodhouse and Art Smith officiating. Interment will at Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
