She was born on February 14, 1945 in Blythe, California to Virgle Owens and Elva Ruth Edwards. She is preceded in death by her spouse and father.
She is survived by her mother Elva Ruth Edwards, children Melvin P Cox III of California and Shaenandoah Blackwell of Warm Springs, AR, Grandchildren Brandon Blackwell of Corning and Dharma Blackwell of Walnut Ridge, Siblings Sherry Merrill and Bradley Owens of Oakdale, California, and Marty Owens of Vale, OR.
There will be no services at this time.
