Jonesboro Nellie Mada Williams, 96, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at St Bernards Medical Center. She was born March 12, 1911 in Paradise, Kentucky to the late Lee Elwood and Dora Eudora Blaine Smith. She drove a taxicab during World War II and worked at Heinemans Department Store, The Childrens Shop and J.C. Penneys in downtown Jonesboro in the 1950s and 1960s.
