Nellie Toombs Caffery, 84 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, February 6, at St Bernards Hospital. Born in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She was a golden graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Nursing where she received her nursing degree in 1946. She came to Jonesboro in 1960 with her husband, Dr. Eldon Caffery.
