Aiken, S.C. - Naomi Darlene Ball, 84, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. Born November 29, 1927 in Cuba City, IL to the late Walter Earl and Garnet Carmen (Benham) Herring. She is also preceded in death by three brothers; Eddie, Ray and Don. And two sisters; Dessie and Irene. She is survived by husband Ernie Franklin Ball whom she married in 1947. Five children; Carol Winkler of Janesville, WI., Connie and husband Ray Barraza of San Antonio, TX., Carmen and husband Jamison Goralski of Beloit, WI., Bob and wife Lori Ball of Walnut Ridge, AR and Richard and wife Lynde Ball of Aiken, S.C. 16 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ball and her husband Ernie lived in Canton, IL until they moved to Emerald Grove, WI. in 1957. And then retired to Pocahontas, AR. in 1983 until 2009 when they moved to Aiken, S.C. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Also, her favorite hobbies were crocheting, sewing, quilting and crafts. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to service from 12-2 p.m.
