Naoma Nunn Timms of Santa Paula, California went to her heavenly home on January 23, 2025.

She was born in Brookland, Arkansas on April 18, 1939, to Roy and Mary Nunn. Naoma spent her childhood years in Dixie, Arkansas where she worked in the cotton fields with her 5 siblings and attended Dixie School. This is where she self-proclaimed herself11th smartest (out of 21 students).

On June 15, 1957, she became the wife of Billy Timms and moved to Chicago to start their life together. Soon after they started their family and made their way to Santa Paula, California. She had many jobs throughout her life, but she most enjoyed her time working at Montecito Village Grocery as a clerk.

As a true servant of God, she loved to share her gifts of piano playing, Sunday school teaching, and leadership within the church. She was an obedient child of God who exemplified selfless and gracious giving. Naoma was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Found eternal peace alongside her husband, Billy Timms; parents, Roy and Mary Nunn; brothers, Robert and Bill Nunn; and sister, Opal Ward.

Loved and cherished by son, Davy Timms (Brenda) of Savoy, Texas; daughter, DeAnne Crow (Phillip) of Aliso Viejo, California; granddaughters, Patricia Roth of Garland, Texas; Hadley Crow of Santa Paula, California; and Jolie Ibarra of Novato, California; grandsons, Logan and Wyatt Crow of Aliso Viejo, California; sisters, Janie Jackson of Conway, Arkansas; and Mary (Geraldine) Reynolds of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Family Fellowship Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral at 11:00 a.m., followed by a burial at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

She will be missed dearly.
