Monette - Mrs. Myrtle Necie Cornish Smith, 90, passed away Saturday, April 30,2011 at the Manila Nursing Center. She was a life-long resident of Monette, born on October 2, 1920 to the late Harve and Necie Townsend Cornish. She was retired from the American Greetings Company after 25 years of service as a data entry clerk and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church and the Monette Eastern Star.
