Lake City- Murrell Gilbert Nance, 93, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at Lakeside Nursing Center. He was born February 17, 1917 in Leachville to the late John and Martha Nance. Mr. Nance served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II with the 840 Bomb Squad in France and Normandy and was awarded eight Bronze Stars, a Distinguished Unit Badge.
