Ravenden Springs - Millie Lakey, 98, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Born December 18, 1912 in Tennessee to the late S.B. and Elizabeth Meese. She is also preceded in death by husband Lewis Lakey and daughter Core Beth Lakey Dyer. She is survived by son James Lakey of Utah and daughter Ann Shelton of Denton, Texas, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Gravesville Church Saturday, January 01, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Carl Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Gravesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. McNabb Funeral Home was in charge of making arrangements.
