Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Edith Wright of Monette, departed this life Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Manila Nursing Center at the age of 89.
She was born June 21, 1931 in Manila, the daughter of the late Lee Townsend and Gertie McDole Townsend.
Mildred was a waitress for many years, having owned her own restaurant at one time. She met several celebrities while working at Dupars Restaurant in Thousand Oaks, CA. She enjoyed sewing and keeping children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Homer Wright in 1998, two daughters, Laquetta Miller and Connie Maki, one son, James Weldon Wright, two brothers, Jack Townsend and Raymond Townsend, and on sister, Willene Townsend.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Wright of Monette, one son, Delbert Wright of Hornersville, MO, one sister, Margie Howard of Allegan, MI, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Arrangements are private.
