Obituary
Mignonne Flagg passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Mignonne was born November 3, 1945 to H. A. Wilson and Nan Jessie Wilson. She has one older brother, Nick Wilson, who currently lives in Little Rock.
She graduated from Arkansas State University in 1967 with a degree in business education. She was a lifelong advocate for vocational education, teaching business classes in Sikeston MO for over 20 years and leading the stand up of the A+ program at Sikeston High School. She was committed to philanthropy and served as an active member of the PEO Sisterhood for over 50 years.
She was married to Sammy C. Flagg for 51 years. Sammy died in 2018.
She has two children, Melissa Flagg of Washington, D.C. and Michael Flagg of Columbia, Missouri. One daughter-in-law, Stephanie Flagg and two granddaughters, Marguerite Flagg and Mallory Flagg, all also of Columbia.
Graveside service will be Friday, April 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Garden with family officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the House of Refuge in Sikeston, MO or the Southeast Missouri Foodbank.
