Obituary
Weiner- Michael David "Mickey" Schisler, 65, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at his home.
He was born October 16, 1953 in Rosell, New Mexico to the late James Michael Schisler and Betty Butterworth Schisler. He was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier. Mickey enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, golf and cooking. He was of the Catholic faith and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and "PawPaw".
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Debbi Schisler; a sister, Janet Schisler Davis of Harrisburg; step-children, Adam Lyerly (Tonya) of Weiner, Brandon Lyerly (Stephanie) and Corrie Lyerly Stricklin all of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Caitlyn Lyerly, Lucas Primm, Emilee Stricklin and Gracie Stricklin.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn "Kate" Dodd Schisler.
A memorial visitation to celebrate his life will from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday September 23, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro.
Lasting memorial may be sent to Weiner Volunteer Fire Department.
