Michael Burgess, 57 of Pocahontas passed away October 6, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

Michael was born October 30, 1963, in Pocahontas to the late Zan Burgess and Ulelar Patterson Burgess.
He was a member of Church of God. Michael was also a Pro Wrestler. He also was the bbq man, a limo driver, and a dirt track racing man. He was the best Dad and Grandpa ever. He was loved by many and known to be the best cook in town.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Carolyn Morgan, Urita Kay Atkins and Gib Burgess.

He is survived by his children Sandy (James) Millsap of Truman, Nathan (Lakesha) Burgess of Pocahontas, and Angela (Luis) Martinez of Truman; grandchildren Ty Nelson, Aidan Nelson, Gage Nelson, Carolina Millsap, Gracie Burgess, Rylee Burgess and Lindsey Martinez; siblings Shirley Marlett of Maynard, Lynda Leathers of Pocahontas, Kathy Reed of Pocahontas, Don Burgess of Pocahontas, and Jimmy Atkins of Pocahontas; many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday October 9, 2021, with a funeral service to begin at 3:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home chapel.
