Michael "Mike" Gene Chesser, 64, of Imboden departed this life and went to his heavenly home on August 21, 2024, at UAMS in Little Rock.

Mike was born in Walnut Ridge on May 10, 1960, the son of Hershel Eugene Chesser and Clara Berthena Chesser.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Chesser; infant brother, and granddaughter, Kinlee Palmer; nephews, Jim and Jason Barnett and mother-in-law, Gert Jacobson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joyce Jacobsen Chesser; daughters, Kendra (Roger) Turley and Karen (Brandon) Palmer, grandchildren, Kodi and Rhea Oxford and Brilee Palmer; mother, Clara Chesser; siblings, Kathy (Randle) Barnett, Charles (Debbie) Chesser, Janice (Pawnee) Halliburton and Teresa (Lee) Kester and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 – 12:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm with Joshua Dement officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in the Chesser Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tracy Chesser, CJ Chesser, Adam Combs, Greg Chesser, Chris Halliburton, Shane Halliburton, Dale Chesser, and Bryan Chesser.

Honorary pallbearers are Kodi Oxford, Brandon Palmer, and Rick Sluder.
