Lake City- Michael Lee Coles, 63, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1957 in Cave City to Alvin and Ruby Coles. Michael was a HVAC technician at RGB and retired after 35 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He was also preceded in death by his father, Alvin and two sisters: Wilma Brandon and Reba Coles.
He is survived by Mona Smith of the home; three children, Mike Coles (Melissa), Aundy Coles, of Jonesboro and Kevin Stanford of Benton; step-son, Aaron Smith (Lindsay)of Idabel, OK;step-daughter, Amanda Carter(Josh) of Munford, TN; mother, Ruby Coles of Jonesboro; sister, Carolyn Woods(Johnny); brother, David Coles(Sharron); grandchildren, Cierra Navarro, Bailey Coles, Hunter Coles, Matthew Stanford, Allen Stanford, Christian Stanford, Colton Butler, Caitlyn Butler, Presley Smith, Layla Smith. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday January 8, 2021 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
