Jonesboro - Melvin Earnest Canamore, 72, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his home. He was born September 25, 1942 in Manila to the late Robert and Lela Barnhart Canamore. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Canamore will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include, his wife, Linda Canamore of Jonesboro; daughters, Joyce Blagg of Dyess, Angie Kraetsch and husband Jeff of San Jose California, Terrie Horn and husband Bryan of Paragould and Missy Cook of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren, Nathan Boling, Lindsey Pillow, Drew Canamore, Whitley Lenderman, Brandon Pillow, Ashlyn Cook, Taylor Canamore, Katie Giles, Hannah Blagg and Abby Blagg; two sisters, Dorothy Brown and Barbara Wooten; and five great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Canamore and a sister, Bonnie Haddox. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Gregg Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Log Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service, Sunday at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bryan Horn, Jeff Kraestch, Nathan Boling, Drew Canamore, David Chadwick and Brandon Pillow.
