Pocahontas- Melody Sue Hettis, 42, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born March 06, 1969 to the late Clarence and Nora Cummins. She is survived by her husband, Paul Hettis of the Home. Two sons, Charles Cook and David Cook, one daughter, Brandy Cook all of Pocahontas. One step daughter, Corey Hettis of MO. One brother, Clarence Cummins, Jr. Three sisters, Melissa Wheeless and Shirley Scott both of Pocahontas and Melinda Bennett of Little Rock. Service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Tracy Bennett officiating. Burial followed in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held Wednesday from 5-7. Pallbearers included: Damien Steele, Patrick Cummins, Richard Wheeless, George Bauldwin, Charles Cook, Jr., Alex Cook, Brandy Cook, Jeffrey Wheeless, and Matthew Wheeless.
