Imboden- Melba Pauline Simpson Justus, 91, passed from this life to the next March 1, 2015. Melba was born July 13, 1923 in Annieville, Arkansas to the late Alfred and Edith Pickett Dent. Melba is survived by William Stanley Simpson, James Perry Simpson, sister Florine Dixon, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces nephews, cousins friends and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 35 years Huron Hollis "Spec" Justus, and previous husband George Reese Simpson, son Donald Vance Simpson, sister Alene Bratcher. Pauline served our country behind the scenes, as one of the many women riveting airplanes during WWII. "Rosie the Riveter" a cultural icon of the 40\u0027s. She was a successful housewife integrating into the work place gradually. She was a farm wife for 35 years, faithful supporting Spec's roll in feeding our country. She had many admirers because she showed herself friendly to others and confronted need with action. She will forever be a profound influence on anyone that had the privilege of knowing her. The family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2015 from 11-12 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service immediately following with Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery
