Ravenden Springs- Melanie Reed, 62, passed away January 30, 2017.

Melanie was born June 12, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois to William Sr. and Virgina Gant Sneed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Reed; children, Brian (Chris) Mahan of Minonk, IL, Christy Mahan Hayes of San Antonio, TX, Shawn (Elizabeth) Mahan of Pocahontas, Gina Reed of Atlanta, GA, Shahara Pedilla of Jacksonville, FL, and Mark Brandon (Lori) Reed of Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Austin (Summer), Brenen, Carson, Brianna, Hayden, Eden, Denym, Swayze, Haley, Legend, Joshua, Bryton; great-granddaughter, Addlyn; siblings, William "Bill" Sneed, Jr. of Ravenden Springs, Robert "Bobby" Sneed of Taylorville, IL, Mary Lee Sneed of Edinberg, IL; step brothers, John Hufsey and Mike Hufsey of Edinberg, IL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February, 1, 2017 from 5-8 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10 am with Jeff Hamm officiating. Burial in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
