Obituary
Germantown, TN- Mazine Markin, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
She was born August 5, 1929 in Childress to the late Albert Ridley and Jesse Mae Hill Eldridge. She was a homemaker and worked in her church nursery until she was eighty years old. She enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and telling jokes. She loved kids and her family.
She is survived by her children, Larry Markin (Sherrye) of Hernando, Mississippi, Mary Beth Herrington (Wally) of Memphis and Nancy Dugard (Doug) of Germantown and; grandchildren, Lari Langley, Derek Markin, Mark Herrington, Chad Dugard and Callie Dugard; great-grandchildren, Nick Markin, Caleb Markin and George Dugard and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Neal Markin and two brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2020 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. (masks are required to be worn inside the funeral home)
A graveside service will be at 3:30 pm at Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Bill Becker officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Herrington, Chad Dugard, Derek Markin, Brad Davis, John Hicks and Blain Brewington.
