Max Ray Scott, 86, of Imboden passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Max was born December 12, 1933 in Memphis, TN to the late Rayburn and Ella Clements Scott. He was a mechanic, served in the National Guard, and was a member of the Imboden First Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Scott; four brothers, Sam, James, Doug, and Marice; four sisters, Alma Ruth, Elizabeth, Mary, and Louise.
Max is survived by his wife, Maxine Rodgers Scott; son, Kenneth Ray Scott of the home; one daughter, Cathy Counce of Melbourne; two grandchildren, David Lee Scott and Katrina Scott of Pocahontas; brother, Ralph Scott of Burnsville, MS, and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 1 PM at Park Cemetery with Michael Bradley officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
