Pocahontas- Max Wilson Oakley, 93, passed away on July 10, 2019 at St Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center.
Max was born on June 23, 1926 in Pocahontas, AR to James Oakley and Gladys Anderson Oakley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Starr Oakley; father, James Oakley; mother, Gladys Anderson Oakley Jordan; stepfather, Mack Jordan; brother, James Oakley, sisters, Jean Oakley and Billie Sue Oakley.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Bowlin; son-in-law, David Bowlin; sister-in-law, Virginia Stevens; and brother-in-law, Bert Stevens; along with nieces and nephews.
Max will be remembered fondly by his many friends and his family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 12-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Eric Moffett officiating. Burial will be private.
